The Blue Boar is right at the heart of a busy community with activities ranging from Band Concerts on the green, Music and Song Festival in July/August to the Village Carnival in September; the Village Feast in July, Christmas Extravaganza in December to re-enactments of the 'Screaming Eagles'. The following is a list of upcoming activities
Michael and Joanne Hehir welcome you to the Blue Boar to sample the unique atmosphere of our 15th century village pub. We serve traditional homecooked food, locally sourced where possible. We also serve a selection from the finest Wadworths ales; 6X, Henry's IPA, Bishops' Tipple, Swordfish, Wadworths seasonal ales and a rolling guest ale. Traditional ciders from Westons and Thatsher's and an impressive selection of Malt Whisky also on offer. A carefully selected Wine list compliments the traditional fare, lunch or dinner Tuesday to Saturday or our popular Sunday Roast offering.
We look forward to welcoming you and looking after you.
